I have now cut a 9-inch square of 1/16-inch thick cork sheet to create the gasket which fits between the bottom of the brown phenolic Mounting Plate and the Aerial Chimney, or other vehicle aerial arrangements, for the 52-Set.
I will order a punch to make the eight perimeter mounting holes in the gasket, before cutting out a central 6-inch square to create the actual 1.5-inch wide square gasket. It is easier to get the eight perimeter holes lined up correctly with a solid piece of cork, than trying to do that with the finished gasket flopping about like a fish. David |
