I have already removed all the bearing races from the rear drums using the proverbial brass drift pin...... but there is not much room for a brass punch on the front drums.

Yes there is a large amount of very stiff grease inside the hub. I may try again with the 3 bolts but will use good quality grade 8 bolts and some "Release lubricant".

I consider myself lucky... so far all the bearings that I have removed are in very good conditions.
