: from Ma to you Caldwell families for a wonderful and memorable first experience at one of these events. It didn't matter that I forgot my frying pan because NOT ONCE was I inclined to use it (except on mosquitoes and perhaps as a sunscreen to prevent the serious sunburn I got on my arms). Everyone welcomed me and made me feel right at home ... so, I thank every one of you who organized AND who attended and made me feel part of it, even though I don't have a CMP ... YET!I especially want to say that CAPTAIN JON and BETTY SKAGFELD opened their home and hospitality to us and made us very welcome and at home ... outstanding! The company, from arriving to leaving, was outstanding ... as were the vehicles that you guys put so much time, energy, money, and passion, and love, into restoring ... one highlight for me was riding in Stewart'sCARRIER DOING REVERSE GOING DOWNHILL on a GRAVEL ROAD! Oh yes ... and i mustn't forget my new found best friend whose Master owns the UNIMOG ... best friend's name CANAAN (did I get the spelling correct?) (pictures to come ... perhaps Friday!!! Watch for them ... I took many) Who knows, perhaps I'll make it to next years event as well ... I'll bring name tag stickers! ![]() Karmen |
