Grease Gun, Fittings

Hey lads help me out here, please.. ware can I find a grease gun to fit the fittings on my 1942 UC made in canada, can i use a reg grease gun with metric fittings , anyone sell these fittings or Grease gun or both, or ware can i get them ie part #'s etc. i'm lost and need to find my way

The tecalimite adapter should be available through any automotive store that sells grease guns and adapters. It might not be in stock, but they can be ordered in. I believe the same fittings were used on Cats at one time.
I have several of the adapters, but postage will cost more than the adapters worth.

Hi Mike,
Just to be sure you're aware, fittings on carriers are BSF 3/8-20, not metric. You can chase regular 1/8 NPT grease fittings with a 3/8-20 die and screw them in to do the greasing, then pull them back out and replace with the originals where they can be seen.

Yes my BIG RED SUIT , ah off course you have i'm in alot of movies, Last of the Mohecans, The patriot,with mel gibson, Lots of A&E work also TLC Channel, and History Channel , and YES I do still recieve Royalties when i'm on certain channels doing interviews and such, how do you think I can pay for my parts for my UC, Royalties mate. When the carrier's complete it's booked for a History channel show come this time next year with other Military MV's in New England area. So YES my BIG RED SUIT gets me Kisses from woman and i'll never get lost, only in "TIME".

You can get those Alamite adapters from any Cat dealer but the last time I checked they were about $75.

I recently bought the fitting for my carriers form a local auto parts store. It was in stock with thier grease gun parts.It was $60.00 for the end and then an other $8.00 for the adapter to fit the hose on grease gun.
