Hello
Thanks
This info is just what I am looking for.I was on Vacation and will have to return to work on Sunday so my research will be more limited. I will reply and read this site when I can.
I still need to know how to get in touch with the Unit War Diaries and the National Archives?
If anyone can help I would appreciate it.
I just found a Picture my mom sent me of Uncle Lee in Uniform and will try to post it in the Vets site later.
All I know is that on Lee's Medels are the date 1939-1944.
I assume this is when he joined the Army.
He was born in Saint John N.B. and I am trying to find out where he joined and Trained and how got into the regina rifles Regiment?.
This site is great and again thanks for all the support and info.
I have been reading some of the others and the stories are awful sad, but I feel we ( as in all this generation ) need to know in order to keep THEIR DREAM ALIVE.
God Bless Them All.
Jim
