Brian Asbury has the brake linings listed as available seperately. In Brandon (a city of about 40,000) there was only one shop left that would reline the brakeshoes. It cost me $220 for the set of four and of that charge the lining material was around $120. They are bonded rather than rivetted, so in theory will last longer, but I'm not so sure I'll ever wear them out.

It's supposed to warm up to 0 this weekend, so I may sneak away from Xmas diner to install my brakes into my carrier. (But honestly, it's just a hobby and not an addiction)
