Default Re: Re: History books by Patrick Delaforce

I too love to read and I'm thrice blessed with a wife that loves to read also, a public library that holds an annual book sale (all hardcovers----25 cents!), and a great used book store nearby.

Heres my list of recent reads:

Battle Zone Normandy; Juno Beach by Ken Ford
The Observer's book of Ships by Frank E. Dodman
Air Power at Sea 1939-45 by John Winton
A Bridge too Far by Cornelius Ryan
Up Front by Bill Mauldin
Herbie by Bing Coughlin
A Rising of Courage by Dan Hartigan
The Forgotten Soldier by Guy Sajer (a personal favourite)
Under the Bombs; The German Homefront 1942-1945
Desperate Siege; The Battle of Hong Kong by Ted Ferguson
Pictorial History of the Great War by S.J. Duncan-Clark and W.R.Plewman
Canada in the Great War by W.S. Wallace
The Encyclopedia of Weapons of World War II
Duel for the Golan; The 100 hour Battle that saved Israel by Jerry Asher and Eric Hammel

Any comments, queries, or reviews eagerly anticipated!
