While we're on the subject of Battle dress, does M.L.U. have a resident expert regarding this subject? My WW II BD pants have both a map pocket and a pocket for the shell dressing. I also have a pr. of Korean War BD pants that only have the map pocket. I have also seen post war Canadian BD pants with neither pocket. Are there definitive dates and reasons that these pockets were dropped? Thanks!
