That would have been Truscott airfield in the north of Western Australia. I saw that programme about 10 years ago, it was Les, the Bush Tucker Man. A friend from Vic. said they found the place years ago, access is not good from inland and if my memory serves me, all the vehicles were brought in from the coast, that would be why they had been left there no doubt.
