This is what I had in mind: Trailer, 2 Wheeled, 10-cwt, GS, No 2 (yes, I know it is a scale model, but it's the only pic I could find).

Didn't the Belgium army copied the british 10-cwt GS trailer. I've seen those before. The owner didn't respond to my e-mail

Arjan,
I did get a responce from the seller a few weeks ago. "trailers are sold" was the reaction. No response whatsoever of a possible build date, manufacturer or background info about these belgian trailers.

Yes, that is indeed the trailer the Belgian Army has been using for about 25 years.
Although I see them nearly every day I have no idea who the manufacturer is, not do I know the exact DoD. It is not a WW2 British made trailer Johan |

I just found one of these trailers for sale at http://www.military1.be/ where it is captioned "Levacq 1953". This might give you a clue re. the manufacturer and year of delivery. Afbeelding%20199.jpg Afbeelding%20198.jpg

Here is a period picture of this type of trailer in Belgian Army service.
andre_10.jpg That Belgian trailer looks much larger than the 10-cwt. Compare with this picture of a half track with British 1-ton trailer (source). baor3.jpg

... and a 1-ton one, basically the same configuration but beefed up slightly. Note the side bars added to the draw bar, for example.
Not sure if this is actually a slightly scaled up version of the one above, or just a later version which was beefed up. I do know the tow bar is slightly wider and higher than the British 10-cwt version. 1c.jpg 2c.jpg 3c.jpg 6c.jpg AW980122_Levacq-054.JPG

Interesting to see these Belgian Levacq trailers popping up in an Army surplus sale (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/uyw...ibextid=WC7FNe)
These are an enlarged postwar copy based on the wartime British 10-cwt trailer, capable of carrying 1 ton. IMG_7327.jpeg IMG_7328.jpeg
