This pic shows the wonderful warm, dry wheatbelt climate which is great for preserving 60 year old vehicles, and the great terrain for a drive in a carrier.
The Reg No of this carrier, WX348, is not the actual No of the carrier, but the enlistment No of Sgt Frank Duffy, who was killed on 23/12/1944. His enlistment number indicates that Sgt Duffy was the 348th person to enlist in the AIF in WA. He is buried in the Commonwealth War Graves Cemetery in Lae, New Guinea.
