C8 battery box pics

Like all older trucks mine was modified..... but there seems to be evidence of a properly installed shelf for a battery box on my cab 11 similar to a cab 13........ did the old rural mechanic follow his experience from a cab 13....?? I dunno!!!

But my floor of the cab 11 has no bolt holes that woudl indicate a battery box inside....???

Nick what you are showing is a typical.... albiet slighty modified by time...... inside battery box......

Of all the various manuals I have.... none show the location of the battery box for the cab 11....... sure I have seen cab 11 CGT with the inside box but never for the C15a cab 11.....

Personnaly with the confined space in the cab I would much prefer the outside location......

Of all the old archive pictures... action shots or staged pictures I have never seen conclusive evidence of the location on a cab 11...or the shape of the box.
