The pic is of course from the AWM and depicts a Chevrolet Field Artillery Tractor No8 (Aust). It was taken at Kairi, a training base which I think is on the Atherton Tablelands in Queensland.

The colours look to be khaki No 3 (which was the vehicle's base colour) with light stone.

Something like the colours on this 11Y Ford belonging to Max and John Hedges:
