Default chev

Rick Cove discovered the AIF reg number of this car on the bonnet . His research has revealed that it was despatched to the Middle East and it was subsequently returned to Australia intact after serving in Syria and beyond .

The Chev. suffered a broken gearbox close to Myrtleford , half way to Corowa , a replacement box was found and fitted . 1940 Chev gearboxes are common things in the Victorian alps .
