Tonight on CBC there's a special on the CEF. SO far it's not bad....

I've been intensively researching 5 CEF relatives, 4 Fallen, the last while. Amazing history, amazing and disturbing/haunting images and stories I'm coming across. I've made quite a bit of headway in finding out where they all served and where my Viznaugh's (and Vizena's all related) died :

I haven't forgotten your family Black Watch soldier Geoff and am still always looking out for anything or anyone that can help identify him. The internet is an amazing networking of people searching and helping each other.

One of the things I enjoy doing since I have nothing but time, and am home all the time, is doing a little searching for people looking for information. Sometimes I get really lucky and even am able to help people find out something solid about their relatives, or point them somewhere that helps, when they don't have the time to search. Makes me feel useful ... and good ... especially when so many people have gone out of their way to help me in my own research. Mark stands out as someone who has helped me most and best of course
