T16 Temperature gauge replacement?

Guys,

My friend is looking to replace the temprature gauge on his T16 as the mounting bezel has cracked, my question is this... is the gauge a common part and used on other vehicles, or was this a part only used on the T16.

He has looked at using one from a jeep and GMC but they are a different size and work off a different measurement system.I think he said that the T16 has 2 electrical terminals on the back.

In the UK I would try Chris Wilkinson who normally has a stall at Beltring.

I would have assumed all gauges were standard by this date but obviously not.

I have a box of US electrical temp gauges that are painted White for the snow tractor. Very likely the same ones you are looking for. 10 bucks each. However, I just moved and may not be able to locate the box just yet.
