We have discussed this question before before at length.
Perhaps someone can provide a link to the thread. Basicaly at the start of the war all British Army AFV's had silver interiors. At a later unknown date and probably due to the lack of suitable paint pigments, white was used, and by the end of the war they were back to silver. My Humber Armoured Car manufactured in 1943 had a silver interior. |
