Sad MW Bedford

While wandering around the back blocks of Narre Warren yesterday , I spotted this sad MW Bedford . It's almost beyond hope as rust has eaten through the chassis in places . What a pity that most of us are U.S. or Canadian centred when it comes to MV's. As far as I know, nobody has taken on a MW here , and they are out there .

From the number it is a 1941 build date. A great shame it has gone to far, because they are great little trucks and still very popular in England.

Here's a pic of another sad MW slowly dissolving found this while looing for parts for my restoration , it was less than 5 miles from where I live and had been left in the orchard for over 40 yrs if only I had known !!!

hi There are more of these around here in Vic. than you would think. I know of one that was on a property at Labertouche in West Gippsland , a club member here beat me to it and it sold for scrap value only .

There was another up past Ararat ? in Stackpools yard along with a Yankee Joe Chevy and also the remains of a GPA .. that was many years ago . Is the MW still there ? Mike
