Default Kombies

Hi Keefy
Don't knock Kombies. I just read an article, which of course I cannot now find, stating that there was a resurgence of interest in these vehicles and they were fetching top prices. A lot apparently were also being exported. Maybe I'll start border raiding these.

Hi Bob any bargains.?? I happen to know the Australian Army has used Kombies in service..
I saw one used at El Alamain Base near Port Augusta as a target.!! And I think I saw a couple for sale once ex Army..?? I suppose they were used to sneak up on the enemy as they were so quiet.!!

Default Bargains

Hi Kym
Just a couple of jerry cans WD 1945 & 1952 and an ex. military indicator arm in really good condition. I was impressed with the show, well organised and good food.

Yep, a genuine 7 seater 'SUV' equipped with winch and tyre pump. The ultimate CMP.

Default Recovery Pics

Heres some more pics of the body now that she is home and safe from the scrappy's...
We lifted her on by hand (took four of us) with only minimal damage to anything including us.!!
The one with the sign post is to help Salesman Bob realize where she was found.. It's good training for cross border raids.!! The roof started to part company here so it was plenty of packing and pull her back together.. The rivets gave up the ghost on one side..
The data plate is pretty well destroyed but you can still see some of the numbers..

Hi all - one of these days I will learn how to post past threads on current ones. Anyway I think this is the body of the No.9 I have posted in the Sales Department.
