Heres some more pics of the body now that she is home and safe from the scrappy's...
We lifted her on by hand (took four of us) with only minimal damage to anything including us.!! The one with the sign post is to help Salesman Bob realize where she was found.. ![]() The data plate is pretty well destroyed but you can still see some of the numbers.. More to Follow

What's next is simple. You just have to get a rolling chassis to go with it and do a frame up restoration, then get the gun and kit to go with it and you're just about there. Nothing to it!!

Hi Kym - that is close to home. I identified the intersection, ergo the location area. Most unusual vehicle to be in that area. I take it you scoured the farm for any other bits? Did you get any information about how it got there or any photographs from when it was acquired?
Bob

I can see why you were having trouble keeping it together... also why you were able to lift it with just four of you. The subframe looks to be completely absent!
The rear floor is just timber floorboards attached to the subframe. Interesting to see one of the timber POL lower holders is still there. And she's body 59... the highest number found so far.

Hi Bob Thought you may know that intersection.. No info on how she got there and absolutely not another bolt on the farm.!! Searched the place high and low.. Its been there for as long as anyone can remember.. They used it as a cubby house and a "tank" when they were kids about 40 years ago and them some.. They cannot ever remember seeing the hatches or the truck it came off of.. No pics thats for sure..
Keith.. Not sure what frame needs to be underneath but that parts pretty solid..They cannot ever remember seeing timber in it so it was probably never there on this farm anyway.. Nice to hear about the number 59 was a good year too... my birth date.!! Spooky isn't it.!!???
