There was a Yankee Joe auger truck getting around the Ferntree Gully/Wantirna area for years . Reg prefix JJ . It was a dull yellow and it was still on the road in 1978 ( last time I spotted it ) . Don't know what became of it .

I well recall the Pakenham example , spotted it many times driving past that yard .

Derek This restored example turned up at War and Piece last year, att all appeared to be in working order
