Yes, that was me - it was a real blast being involved in the project.
The CMP was a 1941 Ford F60L which Tom owned - obviously as you'll see in the movie it has to be hand started and has little in the way of exhaust system. There is a reproduction of the truck which appeared for the 50th celebrations in Marree in 2004. There is also a C60L cab 13 which was a former fire truck painted with Tom's name on display in Marree - the only connection was it was used during the State's 150th celebrations - it never did the mail run.
