There is a well publicised contemporary photograph showing American Military brass inspecting several Australian Pattern AFV's in Melbourne. Judging by the look on their faces I get the feeling they were less than impressed with the little AT carriers - but then they were used to General Grants and stuarts etc (sorry I don't have the means to link to this site)
