This truck is a bitza , the cab is off a late model 4x4 Blitz fitted to a C15 wireless van and the dash plate is off a C60X .
In the picture attached you will see a very crude attempt to marry the cab which has the back cut away to the body of the wireless van.
As you would be aware the chassis on a C15 is narrower at the front than the 4 wheel drive so the side cab mounts do not match up .
The vehicle is a parts truck only .

So that explains it. I must admit I was thinking along similar lines as it was so unusual.

The C60X dash plate was from a RAAF refueller. Of course the sigvan was built in both a C15 (WO73) and C15A (WO12) version with the standard cab - be interesting to compare to see how the factory did it.
