BTW, I own MAPLE LEAF UP, and no, there's no problem with advertising this type of "merchandise" on MLU. As you can gather, the interest is always there. I'll email you presently for payment arrangements, and Clive for transportation & storage. Thanks! Geoff (aka 'Jif')

Guy, I'll send you a cheque tomorrow. You can send mine freight collect on the bus. That's as cheap a method as any and we don't have to calculate shipping costs. I'll enclose the shipping address with the cheque. I'd like a photocopy of the paperwork too.
Thanks, Dave

To add grist to the mill, the construction method of those chests and the hardware are 100% identical to CNo.7 .22 rifle chests, and pretty close to No.4(T) sniper rifle chests. The screws will be straight slot, not Robertson. If you look at a bottom corner (lower left I think), there will be a stamped marking. It will be MCV or such. There is another marking for a company in Haileybury, Ontario. Some rifle chests have two markings; the maker and a gratuitous LB for Long Branch. We've gone around the block a few times on this subject with the No.4 Lee Enfield forums I haunt.
If someone needs to rebuild or duplicate a chest, I have leftover hardware from a salvage job I did ...
