Default Front Bumper - F8 - No. 11 Cab

Luke:
I have recently purchased a F8 with a No. 11 cab that does not have a front bumper. I do, however, have the brush guard. (Don't know how the bumper got lost and not the guard!) Your pictures of how the guard is affixed to the bumper will be very helpful when I fasten mine to its bumper.

However I need the measurements of the bumper itself. I need the length, width (think it must be 5" wide channel) as well as the depth of the channel. I also need a picture of how the bumper is attached to the frame. Any pictures of yours would be very helpful!

Your assistance will be most appreciated!

Regards,
Jim

Quick question, but why is the brush guard in question on the front of the bumper and not behind it??? Same goes for Keiths photo. They should both be in the inside. The Chev has 1 leaf in front and 2 behind the bumper. The Fords all have the three spring leaves behind the bumper.

On ours it has been placed on wrong, because the spacer block is missing it isn't possible to hold it in place behind the bumper.
Basically someone messed up.

Rick some of the later Ford cab 13's had the brush guard on the outside as Keith said and the photo shows. The first photo is a restoration done the wrong way.
