Default Vanguard Pickup Info Needed

Greetings! I'm new to the MLU Forum. I own a number of English Ford Thames E83W trucks but I have just purchased a 1950 Vanguard Pickup. It is in good mechanical condition, complete, but needs a lot of welding and patching to the body. The pickup box floor is missing. A piece of corrugated metal was supplied to fill the area but I'm not sure if it originally had a wood floor in the box or metal. If anyone can enlighten me on the structure of the box I would be grateful. I'd like to correspond with other owners. Incidentally, I recently visited the Canadian War Museum to see their E83W WWII Emergency Food Van under restoration and have been assisting them with information and some parts. I look forward to restoring the Vanguard as the Thames is only capable of about 35 MPH which rules out many driving events nowadays and the Vanguard should be highway capable. -Les Foster, B.C.
