Anybody out there have any plans or pictures for/of the battery box for the F8, No. 11? My truck arrived with just the battery cables running through the floor and the back wall.

Jim
I made one up. I got a loan of an original and measured it up. Not too difficult . The lid lock down catch is a standard fitting and the local hardware store had one . I was impressed, 60 years on and still the same design. It sits on the 2 runner supports, like the seat bases, I cut down a seat runner and used that. I think that's how it is originally. I'l dig up the drawings and scan them .. stand by .

How many hours from question to drawings? I continue to be amazed at the depth and breathed of the collective knowledge in our group, and the absolute willingness to be helpful.
But then again the CMP community has always been this way, I can remember 30 years ago writing to complete strangers in Australia with a question and getting a detailed response with drawings by return mail. Just a general thanks to everyone.
