Default I did something unusual

Well, for me it was...

I went to the 20/20 cricket (Australia vs Pakistan) with Belinda.

The unusual thing for me was it's the first sporting event I've been to see at the MCG since 1966. For me sport has always been on the periphery of my existence, although I find the test match cricket good to listen to while working on a CMP. Other sport is more than dealt with by watching the highlights in the news.

Observations were:

There was a LOT of advertising.

It was quite a spectacle.

There were a lot of people there - over 60,000

People drank a LOT of beer in plastic cups

We enjoyed it = CMP points which sadly evaporated rather quickly.

Maybe I'm mellowing?

Who else is into Cricket or other sports? It seems to me a lot of us are too engrossed in other things to be passionate about sport.
