Greetings, all...posting here in what I assume is an appropriate place.
With Thanksgiving upon us, I wonder if there are any MLUers of my generation who are "into" Arlo Guthrie and Alice's Restaurant? I and my wife (her having been a folksinger in the Village, decades ago) love the folk genre...Dylan, Kingston Trio, Chad Mitchell Trio, M&P, PP&M et al. Tomorrow, we'll spin the vinyl of Alice... "Its right there, around the back, Just a half a mile from the railroad track, You can get all you want, At Alice's Restaurant." Doing this act is an appeasement to my wife's sensibilites, 'cause come All Hallow's Eve, I drive her nuts when I watch The Rocky Horror Picture Show. ![]() ![]() Meanwhile, Thanksgiving indeed, for all that we have.
