Default Sbu

Looking for information on Slave Battery Charger carriers. 1 Cdn Tk Bde is shown as holding 13 early in the war.

Default Correction - S.B.C.

Should be Slave Battery Carrier (SBC)

Default C,T,S&C photos...

Hello Clive

No, I didn't.

Photos of these vehicles are elusive.

The best bet may be that series taken during the Royal Inspection, February '43 is it?

I do know they were not especially popular vehicles as they were slow.

I think they were replaced in CAC service with the Truck, 15-cwt, Battery Charging.

Steve

Default Loyd carrier shots

I have seen a few at the archives--they're in the big red books Clive, roughly 41-43. No SBC's that I recall though. But a closer, more purposeful, examination of them might reveal some.
