Thanks for looking Scott Last edited by chilidude; 22-04-03 at 04:59. |

Hi Chilidude (do you have a name?)
Always good to see another museum coming on line, especially WW2. If you are involved with this museum you may like to pass on our museum website for their interest and possible liaison. www.military-vehicle-museum.org.au Bob |

I just returned from the WW2 Victory Museum down in Auburn, Indiana and I thought I should pass on some details. It's a fairly new museum funded by Dean Kruse of Kruse Auto auction fame. He has purchased a Belgian collection/museum and brought it back to corporate headquarters in Indiana. The building is on the order of 200,000 square feet, if one of the volunteers is to be believed. I'm not sure if the number is accurate but it's plenty big. The really interesting part is the emphasis on vehicles from Germany, Italy, France and others, not just US. For us Canadian fans there are a few kinda interesting bits but you'll have to wait for the pictures to come back from processing later on today. In the interim can somebody guide me through posting pictures? Check back later.

Panoramic shot #4.
Sure looks like an Adler to me but the wheels are wrong for a 3 Gd which has been featured in almost every German vehicle book. In any case, I have never seen an Adler pick up/small GS vehicle. Very nice looking vehicle and I will contact them to get the ID. Bill

Thought you might be interested that the WWII Victory Museum in Auburn Indiana is thinking of selling their Prototype Hanomag S.P.W., the Stoewer 40, and the Steyr 1500 RSG Truck Troop Hauler.

i would not be suprised to see the entire collection up for sale in the next few years. Mr kruse has sold the auction house and is facing sevral law suits over his auction dealings and museums. there is still an outstanding ballance due to the original victory museum owner in belguim. its all a big mess in ft wane that will probably get bigger when all the lawyers get finished picking at the bones of the kruse complex.
