Default Strickland Carrier Serial No: VR750

Hi All,
Been awhile since i have been on the Forum .

I recently purchased a Carrier hull in Victoria which was a Strickland conversion. Today i found the Serial number on the rear of the carrier above where the Diff pokes through .

So i am guessing that the VR is Victorian Railways . Is there a way to find out more about this carriers history ?

regards ,
James .

I see a WC Dodge front guard support sitting on the track guard.
Good images showing the smaller sprocket and packed out suspension. Thanks for posting.

If you look in book 3 pg 124 of the AWM books you will find that on 17/11/41 VR750 was loaded on to the Talabot and was shipped from Melbourne to the Middle East.
