Hi Mariano,
Here's some photos. The throttle rod has two bends in it to clear the fuel pump. The choke rod is identical but straight, no bends. The knobs are standard 1940 Ford car knobs. I think I bought 1940 Deluxe sedan knobs from Dennis Carpenter years ago. Have attached photo of two original ones for comparison. Original grommets at the engine cover were metal ones with a rubber insert to allow friction to hold the throttle and choke at the desired position. Aftermarket ones from Dennis Carpenter are solid rubber and do the same thing. He also produces the original metal and rubber style too. The slotted ends on the rod allow you to set the knobs with the choke and throttle fully off with the knob fully pushed in. Hope this helps. Cheers,

Hi Mariano,
Often the case! A few times I have done the same thing and nice to find something you didn't expect. Thought you might like a photo of an original choke rod with the dimensions. In the previous photo I posted of the throttle rods the bottom two were NOS parts. When I bought them they were still wrapped in grease paper so I assume the bends are factory correct. The top two rods were used ones. Hope this helps. Cheers,

And for reference, this arrangement is not unique to the F15A, it is consistent across all Ford 13 Cab CMPs.

I have used the early pattern Ford Illustrated Army Parts catalogue 1940-1941 on a few occasions to check commonality amongst the various models. It is available on EBay on CD-ROM. Unlike the Cab 13 Parts Manuals you don't need every model's Parts List to check the part numbers for commonality. The various models are arranged in tabular form against the part number. There could be some traps, but for the most part I have found it handy info even for my cab 13. I used it recently comparing parts for the single and dual range transfer cases. Cheers,

As Tony says, all cab 13s had the same knobs.
Even this 1945 FAT-5. See red circle. Thanks for your contributions
