C60L air compressor

Hi, Can anyone advise detail about the oil filler tube for the air compressor, manual shows a angled tube with a spring top and says add 2 oz of engine oil to lubricate the compressor crank. presently mine just has a hole in the side of the compressor case with no obvious signs of what seals the hole when a tube is fitted?
