Default A stretched F15A

For the past week or so I've been on the road filming a documentary for the History Channel but found the time (and coerced the director in whose car we were travelling) to make a couple of detours to look at the really interesting stuff.

Sometimes it takes a little detective work to work out what alterations have taken place to a vehicle. Fortunately in this case the original owner who performed the transformation was on hand to explain.
He'd taken a standard F15A and added 33 inches to the wheelbase which seems to me a lot of work when 134" chassis aren't uncommon. Something he didn't mention was the cab has been transplanted from a Canadian built F15 as witnessed by the data plate and the roof hatch.

More pics here.
