UNEF Jeep Radio Fits

Gents,

I am working on model of an M38A1CDN in UNEF service. One of the details I am hung up is the radio fit on the rear wheel well. Most shots clearly show an AN/GRC-9 radio (or similar) fit located there but at least two shots I have found show something different (see attached photo and the next post)

The shots show a long rectangular box with a cylinder on top. My guess is that it is a ws 19 with the antenna variometer on top. If that is the case then there is the question of the antenna fit...

Anybody have any thoughts

Mark, not about the radio setup, sorry.

But I find it interesting to see sand tyres fitted to this M38A1CDN. Never seen them before to this type of Jeep. Are they 7.50-16 or 9.00-16? I'm guessing the latter.
