![]() ![]() Some interesting interviews - I did an interview with an ex-137 Squadron RAF pilot who flew Hurricanes, Whirlwinds and Typhoons, including the Falaise Gap shootup of German tanks - he described what happened when his rockets hit a tank and how the whole turret lifted off... ![]() He also did a lot of work on locomotives. The Hurricanes were the first to be fitted with the 40mm cannon and it felt like the aircraft had stopped when they were fired.
