Default Heads Up OZ......

Now, maybe this will work for some one down in the Melbourne neck of the woods....but there's a CMP Maintenance Manual on Ebay (nice shape) from Melbourne Antiques. The price....a whopping $0.99. Price to ship it to Canada or USA $73.00. That's a little out of line for this neck of the woods. So.... maybe some Great Oz Wizard could snap this up and pay bugger all for shipping. I'll leave it with you.
Item number is 382 395 836 821 Canadian Pattern Military Armored Vehicle Maintenance Manual MB-C1.
If you do get it, pass on the news here. Good luck.....Robert

Default Ford CMP truck on Ebay

Hi all,

Here's one from another optimist on Ebay.

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/263554334077?ul_noapp=true

I like the comment on how easy it would be to fabricate a missing driver's door. Methinks he has limited metal fabrication experience.

Not the only thing missing also!

Cheers,

Yes, quite the optimist!
Especially offering to post to the USA.
I wonder whether the Dalmatian is included.

Default Ford CMP truck on Ebay

Hi Keith,

Hope not. If the Dalmatian goes with the truck to to the USA it could be another Pistol & Boo Johnny Depp situation in reverse!

Cheers

Default Ford CMP Australian body wooden chassis spacers

Good Day All,

It is amazing what you can sometime glean from a photo.
While Looking closely at these EBay photos I noticed wooden spacer blocks inside the left chassis rail.

I remember a thread on the subject of these spacers blocks as used on the Canadian bodied vehicles but was unsure if Australian bodied trucks also used chassis spacer blocks as I had never seen any of them on any truck here.

That photo answered my question. Considering how many things are missing on that vehicle it is surprising that they are still there.
Looks like I will have to sharpen up on my woodworking skills.

Cheers,

And...........now I get outbid on the fire extinguisher.

Ryan forgot to mention a wheel spanner for CMP. I'm outbid on that one too!

No one wants the trouble light yet eh?

Oh well, I can't have everything...........where would I put it?

All's fair in Love, War & Ebay :-)

Are you bid out on this? I'm tempted but I'll hold on if you're still going.

Ex Blitz workshop body, which was probably transferred to a Studebaker US6, and then transferred to an Inter 6x6, which is included in the sale!!

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Australia...item3f1ebf1504

If you wanted the F1, I'd wager that it would have fairly low milage on it.

Default Price

Just saw the price and had to stifle a laugh... for a cab 12 in that condition I reckon they are asking about $14,750 too much.

This is one Andrew spotted in August 2011.

Does have a nice Ford badge still on the dash though.

Either sticky 0 key or sticky from having their hands on something else

Looks like it has changed scenery since I was sent photos of it
It must be one of the advanced models 6 years ahead of it's time

Ryan, your right. It certainly looks to be a C60X. The 1" extension to the grill points to that as does the big diffs etc. The number of spring leaves and having a 270 GMC instead of the Chev 216 confirms it.

What a pity it is in WA. Hope someone saves it.

Regards Rick

Hello All,

Could someone post up what one of the C60x would have looked like in an unmolested state? Thank you. It is hard to work out from the crane photographs as none of them show a complete profile. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/woodv...ve-/1030648458

Kind Regards
Lionel
