Radiator mounts
Hi all
Does anyone know of a ready made kit for the radiator mounts. ive got the original brackets but the rubber was completly shot. Surprise, surprise after 68yrs. Ive checked Mac's but they just seem to sell and thin rubber pad and a spring. My only other thought was to cut some thick neoprene sheet and just layer it. Further more, how high is the rubber supposed to be past the top edge of the bracket. Thanks for the help.

Just high enough to make the fan fit centrally in the shroud.
Isnt the top of the rubber block angled? I think I have one somewhere.I'll see if I can find it over the next couple of days.

Maybe I'll have to wait then until the engine is back in and play around with them. When I pulled them out they did have an angle to them, however Im not sure if this was due to having a rad sit on them for 67yrs.

Hi Jordan
I've found it. brand new old stock. TL2714 DRC 1940, 40mm at the low end, and 47mm at the high end. Image later if you want it.

Im just working on making a master part for this item to cast up some new ones. Does the lower part go to the front or the back?

I dont have a carrier with a motor in it or engine covers etc. (I haven't got that far yet)
I'd say the high bit goes to the front, to lean the radiator back. The mount on the radiator is square to the radiator, and the mount bolts to the frame which is square to the bed rails. Does the radiator lean back at the top? If it does, then this is how it is achieved. Any how, the rubber just drops into the steel
