That one pic (or two since Mike posted it twice) looks like a Cab 11 C15 with a 2B1 box on it but the picture was developed from the wrong side of the negative since the tail light is on the left hand side.

It has a closed cab Dodge cab..... year?? right hand drive... with a CMP cargo box..(2C1 ?) and a CMP tool box and possibly CMP fuel tanks.....and a CMP 2 wheel drive front axle??? or was the axle proprietory to Dodge?? Just curious and always facinated with my old Dodge roots..... which I refer to as B. C. or before Chevrolet... Boob

Italy pics the end....
Fitting that the last pics to be posted will be of Monte Cassino...
The rest of the pics are more personal and won't be posted. I hope you enjoyed the series. I will have another interesting series shortly from a mechanic who took all kinds of pics of the vehicles he worked on. He was an inspector for vehicles being accepted by the military from contractors. I am quite excited about the family providing me pics to copy. More later. cheers from Windsor Ontario home of the Ford CMP and Bren Gun Carrier Mike Timoshyk check out www.militarymuster.org |
