Default Canadian Reception Set

I bought a heap of radios and gear today and amongst them was this reception set. I pugged it in and it works too!

On the plate it has:

RECEPTION SET(CANADIAN)
R103 MKII
Serial 0905

I assume it is wartime but does anyone have any other info on it?

Thanks
Darren

Its a WW2 Canadian receiver often used in civilian pattern staff cars, kind of like an army AM radio. I have a manual on it.

Bruce has a manual on everything WW2, and some cold war items.
