Default German Jerries, latest treasure

Found the deal of the week the other day when I responded to a Kijiji ad selling military gas cans.
From the pictures, I could see that they had the typical German style but we all know that the British copied these so hard to tell from pics.
I enquired as to whether they had any markings, specifically wartime dates and received a positive reply but nothing as to whether they were German or not.
I made arrangements to go and have a look, the fellow had about 2 dozen.
I picked through them all and while there were several nice WD british ones, i managed to find 3 nice German cans.
I managed to find 2 gas cans, one a 1939 and the other 1943 Wehrmacht as well as a 1942 Wasser Wehrmacht can.
