Tiger I at Munster
Apparently the Munster armour museum has acquired a Tiger I to put on display, as per Wikipedia. It was pieced together from wrecked sections found in a scrapyard near Normandy and from other places. It is built up as a late war E model and looks very good overall. Here is the link to a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJSaxJAmSCM .I think a collector in France did most of the basic reconstruction of it

This Tiger 1 was made from various parts from all over Europe and is only on loan to the Panzer Museum for 4 years. It belongs to a collector, and is lacking an interior . The barrel, turret top, late road wheels came from Latvia that a collector friend of mine found and sold them to the restoration group.

Tiger I reconstructed
Yes, they did an excellent job on reconstructing a Tiger I from sections of wrecked vehicles, looks perfect , and is authentic as it is done with actual companents. I found a forum on it with more info http://www.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=648575 Here we can see another one is also being done, amazing. Here is another photo of the one currently on display at the Munster museum .If this picture does not show well, it is on page 2 of the forum, entry # 30
