battery box
It pays to know what your looking at while meandering around swap meets
I spotted this at the Traf swap meet yesterday It's a Larkspur radio battery box .. these are very hard to find and I now have 2 of them , both found at local swap meets . Two are needed for the vehicle eg Land Rover or Champ radio set up ... this one has DUNLOP embossed into the front and the 12V 75 AH .

From the design characteristics, I can see why they are hard to find. My mind's eye has a dozen other uses for such a steel box that don't include carrying batteries.

There is one floating around with the un-catalogued artifacts at the Shilo RCA museum. Were these part of the the C-42 setups?
