VT9A Test Meter
Does anyone know anything about this test meter, or have a photograph of one?
It might serve various functions, one of which would be reading RF Volts and it is likely of 1940’s to 1960’s vintage. David |

it's known as "test set, radio, Stark model VT9". Both the 9 and the 9A are listed in the VAOS 4Z dated February 1953. There is a description and a drawing of the VT9 on page E45.
Also found an ad for the unit. Last edited by Bruce MacMillan; 12-07-22 at 07:41. |

Thanks for the help, Bruce. I can now see why it was the go to tester for checking the RF Voltage output of the 52-Set Sender in Medium and High Power Modes.
Interesting that it is another Stark product. Easy to find documentation for any number of their tube testers, but for their other products, not so much for some reason. And yet they sold a lot of equipment of all types over the years. Best regards, David |

Here is the schematic.
It looks quite similar in looks and function to the RCA WV-87A Stark was known to build equipment under licence. |
