Default 1953?

Hi Jack,

Good luck with the multi-builds. If the last sale is any indication, you could sell one to easily fund the resto on the others.

The boiler date looks like 6-8-53 to me, or am I not seeing it well enough?

Best regards

Mike

Not sure on the date Mike. It needs a better clean up. I have other boilers but never looked to close at the markings. The oven that came with this has a1971 build plate. Doesn’t look to have the expected usage wear and tear but has suffered from weathering. I’m thinking it has never been used but neglected. Needs a new bottom anda sandblast and should be good to go.

Interesting, Jack, that the oven should be such a late build. Might be yet another dimension to the steam cooker story I was unaware of.

Always curious to plug in the info off 2 or 4 wheel cooker boilers into the database to see where it fits (errr.... IF it fits!)

Another Aussie burning the midnight! Don't you and Tony sleep?

Mike
