Just noticed while looking over the pictures again, how similar the RYPA turret is to what was build for the truck. Another reason why Im leaning towards the idea that what they bought were actual turrets from the company in Toronto.

speaking of unusual armoured trucks... in one of the early Convoy mags is an oddball big truck (5-10t?) in a "Whatizit" section...
Alas I dont have easy access to my Convoy remainders..
I wonder if anyone still has their old mags and can look it up, scan and post it?

Couple of original Hamilton Civil Guard items I have picked up recently. Just got the helmet yesterday at a gun show. Belonged to the sellers dad. He was in the unit as a teenager along with his father.

Yes he is. She gave me his name. I just missed him at the show as he had gone home. She told me to come see him at the next show as he would be there.
