Really nice work.
I cant wait until our new house is finished and I can build our shop so I too can get tinkering. Working in the shop at work doesn't cut it. R |

Well, been a bit, so here's where i'm at as of now
A shot of the rad armor before and after ![]() ![]() Started to paint all the armor while waiting for the machine shop to make new bushings in the clutch/brake pedal assembly, that also triples as the front cab mount and master cylinder mount. Until i got it back, I couldn't install the cab, which meant all the armor was kicking around ![]() Mount back and assembly starts ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm glad i haven't done final paint on the panels yet, all the new door hardware arnt fitting right and have had to remove them to modify them ![]()

Things have been kinda slow, lost heat in the shop for 2 weeks and the lil stuff takes alot of time
I got 3 gun sockets so had to mount them, weld in supports etc. Also I decided to install roof bows so I also had to weld in the mounts for that ![]() test fit of the 1919 out back ![]() this week I hope to get the rear inside final paint done so I can start on seats etc. All my wiring is starting to come along, got almost all the dash parts I need to assemble.

You do know that these tracks are directional I hope....
There should be a direction of rotation arrow cast in the edge of the track. |

always read manual before starting an unknown job. I have the factory reprint from the track manufacturer from ww2 and it shows direction.I checked alot before installing, and had the wife verify lol. There are no arrows that i saw on the Israelis tracks

The grass always isn't greener on the other side, yours is probably easier and cheaper in the long run to restore, but when it gets to the states, if you ever want to come down and drive it, you are invited...

End of April i fired the engine for the first time. All went well with some small issues.
May 24 weekend I pulled her out of the shop for some sun. Been over 3 years since she saw any. Still not under her own power but wanted to set the steering straight ![]() ![]() Then onto getting it ready to run. I wanted to have her driving under her own power for the 70th ann of D Day June 6th. Well all went well. Here is the video made Friday June 6th. Wife did the video and shes not very tech savvy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxDCbDDPNG8 And a shot out on the front drive ![]()
