Default Ottawa get together

It has been quite a while since we had a gather up here in Ottawa. I propose that we hold a meeting of like-minded restorers and enthusiasts in Ottawa after November 11th.

Since the shitty weather is just around the corner, it is time to get reacquianted and enjoy the company of those afflicted with the rust addiction.

Any dates tickle your fancy? We will pick the date using the time tested democratic process - whatever suits the majority.

Venue is to be announced.

Wednesdays are bad for me and my son - scouts. Otherwise six days a week are open.

Seeing as how my lady doesn't do Indian food and I have a craving for a good curry how about we go out to Richmond road, wasn't there an Indian restaurant out there? Would make a good change from wings and other road house fare.

I'm sure I could cadge a couch surf nearby if we went Indian, would be worth the effort to drive up to see you guys.

Last time was about a year ago when Rob Love came to town.

Most nights good.

That would have been March of 2011 if I recall correctly. Sadly I won't be making it this time.....the war is over.

Default dates

Hello Folks

I know Robin wanted to avoid Dec. Terry was not available on Wed. Bob could not make weekends.

Since nobody has suggested dates. Here are a few in early Dec:

After Wreaths across Canada (Beachwood Cemetary) Sunday 02 Dec.

Thursday 06 Dec.

Any thoughts?

Eric
